Meet Shea SBRANTI

Founded by Shea Sbranti, SSG was built to help guide the state’s top prospects through every step of their baseball journey. With years of experience across multiple levels of the game, Shea brings a deep understanding of player development, scouting, and recruiting.

Before launching SSG, Shea served as the Arizona Scouting Director for Prep Baseball Report (PBR), where he led statewide player evaluations, rankings, and showcase events while collaborating closely with college coaches and professional scouts. His coaching background includes time as a Volunteer Assistant Coach at Grand Canyon University, focusing on recruiting, catching, and player development, and as Director of Player Personnel and Graduate Assistant at Penn State University Baseball, where he oversaw video analysis, scouting, and on-campus recruiting operations. His career reflects a lifelong passion for mentoring athletes and helping them maximize their potential—both as players and as individuals.

What does Sbranti Sports Group do?
- SSG helps high school baseball players navigate the college recruiting process. We provide personalized recruiting advisement, player evaluations, showcase placement, and direct communication strategies with college coaches to help athletes find their best fit both academically and athletically.
Who is SSG for?
- We represent high-level prospects who demonstrate both athletic ability and the drive to compete at the next level. Our roster includes some of the top uncommitted players and committed prospects in the state. Players are accepted into SSG by evaluation or referral only.
What makes SSG different from other recruiting services?
- SSG is built for top-tier athletes, not the masses. We don’t rely on generic email blasts or automated systems to reach coaches. Every player we represent is promoted through direct communication. Which include phone calls, and long-standing relationships with college coaching staffs. Because we take on a small, select group of athletes, we’re able to personally advocate for each player and ensure their name is trusted and respected in the recruiting space.
How does a player get invited to join SSG?
- Players are identified through scouting, referrals, or evaluation events. If you believe you’re a fit for SSG, you can submit your info through our contact form. Our staff will review your background and reach out if there’s mutual interest.
